Program Description
  1. Comprehensive Community Treatment (CCT): long term therapeutic and case management services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
  2. Crisis Services/Mobile Crisis Team (CAT/MCT): Mobile Crisis shift (7 hrs per week, evenings required) and additional hours in the clinic providing intake assessment and carrying a small caseload.
Placement Period First Friday after Labor Day through August 2016
Program/Placement Hours Varies by program. CCT interns minimum of 24 hours per week over a minimum of three days, at least one 8 hour day, M-F. MCT interns minimum of 20 hours per week over a minimum of three days. Must be available to work until 10pm one evening per week, which may be a weekend evening. Friday is required training day for both programs.
Preferred Discipline / Experience Graduate students in counseling, social work, and psychology. Minimum one year clinical experience preferred.
First or Second Year Students Second year students preferred, though we have accepted first year students with exceptional experience.
Supervision & Training: 1 hour per week individual, 1 hour group, and 2 hours of didactic per week for all interns. One additional hour of group for MCT interns.
