Program Description
Provides individual therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, individual and group rehabilitation, case management, psychiatric support and housing. Trainees will collaborate with other providers as needed to support treatment. Trainees will develop skills in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, motivational interviewing techniques, multiple modes of treatment, and effective resource linkage.
Placement Period
September through June; other placement schedules may be considered depending on graduate program requirements
Program/Placement Hours
Monday through Friday from 9 - 5pm; 20 to 24 hours per week
Preferred Discipline / Experience
MFT, MSW Interns; Bilingual/Bicultural candidates; must have access to a car
First or Second Year Students
Second Year; First Year with prior experience working with TAY or Children’s population
Supervision & Support:
Weekly individual and group supervision; agency provided training weekly, staff meetings
