School Based Behavioral Health Services
North: Oakland
South: San Leandro, Hayward

  • School Based Therapy located in public schools
  • Individual/group/family therapy/case management

Intensive Counseling Services Therapeutic Nursery School (TNS)

  • Therapeutic classroom for children ages 2 to 6
  • Children who have social, emotional , and learning difficulties
  • Location: North Oakland

Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Work with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system

  • Individual, group, family therapy, case management
  • Location: Oakland

Intensive Counseling Enriched (ICE)

  • Therapeutic Classroom for students with high needs
  • Individual, group, family therapy, case management
  • Locations: Alameda, Oakland

Delinquency Prevention Network (DPN)/Oakland United
Work with adolescents involved in or diversion from the juvenile justice system

  • Individual, family therapy, case management
  • Location: Oakland

First Year Masters and BSW Positions:

Circle of Care

  • Community Based grief, loss and bereavement supports groups
  • Intake/Assessment for age-appropriate groups
  • Spanish speaking fluency highly desirable
  • Locations: Oakland, Hayward

After School Program

  • K-5 Social Emotional Support
  • Classroom support for children with learning difficulties
  • Social emotional groups for students
  • Parent engagement and brokerage to referrals
  • Location: Oakland

Family Resource Centers

  • Intake and Assessment
  • Family Navigation for federal and state funded programming
  • Case management
  • Food Bank resources
  • Location: Oakland, Hayward

Frick Health and Wellness Center

  • Intake and Assessment
  • Facilitate peer Support groups
  • Data Tracking

Placement Period: Contract Runs August 1-June 30th, actual time dependent upon program placement accepted.
Program/Placement Hours: Most programming is between 8-5 with the exception of afterschool and Circle of Care.
Preferred Discipline / Experience: MSW, MFT, LPCC, PPSC, BSW
First or Second Year Students: Both accepted
Supervision & Support: All masters level student receive one hour individual, two hours group supervision and four hour didactic training. BSW’s receive one hour supervision.
