Advocate for incarcerated individual’s who suffer from severe and chronic mental illness by connecting them to mental health treatment and services as oppose to further incarceration. Advocacy occurs in the court room setting. Conduct clinical assessments and release planning |

Preferred Discipline / Experience: |
Social welfare, social work, mental health specialty, psychology |

First or Second Year Students: |
Second year student preferred, 1st year students ok as well |

Supervision & Support: |
Individual supervision 1 hour/week. Monthly training in various clinical topics offered through Criminal Justice Mental Health, access to training provided through ACBHCS |
