Membership & Committees

Council membership will include a diverse set of stakeholders and the BHCS Administrative Team.  We strongly encourage individuals who are family members or who have received services in the public mental health system to apply.  (Stipends and transportation reimbursement are available for family members and consumers.)  Terms for individuals not on the BHCS Administrative Team will not exceed three years.

The Steering Committee of the Council sets agendas for meetings.  Members of the Steering Committee chair the regular Council meetings. All Council members have the opportunity to work on committees that the Council forms to address specific concerns or needs.  This page will have general information on Committees and their work.
